I'm not sure how Garth doesn't have a blog about it by now, but the Super Series starts tonight, and Grigorenko is on Team Russia. The NHL Network is showing it. Sounds like a good watch.

The NHL Network is showing tonight's game, at 7, for sure, and I would imagine the rest of them as well. It's not like they have an abundance of material to show instead right now.

EDIT: According to NHL.com, they are showing all 3 games this week on the NHL Network. Next week's schedule isn't available yet, but I'm pretty sure you can watch them all.

Sounds like I didn't miss much then since I just got home.

Again, thanks for the info. I just wish that we could watch the Amerks on tv. They have links on the sites that are always getting posted around here but the feed definitely stinks.

I'd like to get out to a few games in Rochester, but most of the home games are on Friday, and even with getting out of work at 5 and heading right to Rochester, it's cutting it kinda close time wise.

I've said this before: the more I watch the QMJHL (which isn't a ton, but it's increased with the NHL Network and the lockout), the more it seems like the Big XII or Pac XII in college football. There isn't a high emphasis on defense and protecting the puck/ball as there is in other leagues.

I've heard that before. But I've also heard that it's something that a lot of teams are starting to do differently as well. I'm not sure how true it is, but apparently the numbers support it. I'm honestly too lazy to do the research to see how true it is.
